CRM Online has developed a solution for print media that incorporates sales, booking management, integrated accounting and automated credit card billing. This solution has been used as a base for newspapaer, magazines and promotional printers. The system provides the following key features:
- Tracking of leads and opportunities specifically around selling advertising in publications
- Management of sections within each publication with quota allocations to each section
- Live reporting of current editions with associated bookings broken down by section or type
- Management of editions with associated bookings
- Ability to make ad bookings across multiple editions
- Automated credit card billing of bookings for each edition
- Integrated accounting via our Cloud Accounting Connector for SugarCRM
The system provides an end to end solution for sales team management, publication management and billing of clients with integrated accounting. Refer to the figure below for an overview of the sales process within the CRM.

Once the bookings are made, each booking is stored against the edition and is visible within a subpanel against the booking. Each edition has a "Process Billing" button that triggers the process shown below.

This is of course seamlessly integrated with either Saasu or Xero Online Accounting via our Cloud Accounting Connector for SugarCRM.
