Mobile Synchronization
One of the key requirements for any CRM is to synchronize with the user’s local groupware system, whether that is Microsoft Outlook, an iPhone or any one of a number of smart phones on the market today. It has been tested with the following products to date:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Nokia E71, E61, E61i (Native Synchronization)
- iPhone (Official application only synchronizes contacts)
- Blackberry (Beta Stage)
The approach that CRM Online has taken has been to develop a synchronization server using an open protocol (SyncML) and give the user the ability to choose their synchronization client. This means that by developing one server, our CRM systems can synchronize with iPhone, the entire Nokia phone series and Microsoft Outlook to name but a few systems. This is the same protocol used by Apple in their iSync products and by Google in their mobile synchronization products.
The SyncMe Synchronization Server is available for the following CRM products:
- info@hand
- SugarCRM Community Edition
- SugarCRM Professional
- SugarCRM Enterprise
Since the synchronization server was developed in house, the technology can also be used for custom projects if required.
The pricing of the synchronization server is on a per system (not a per user) basis as is AUD$149 for info@hand users and AUD$299 for SugarCRM users. Contact us for further information.
